Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Voltfox Games LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("we", "us"). They apply to our mobile games, including Astra Blocks, and any other game we publish that links to these Terms (each a "Game"), and to voltfoxgames.com (together, the "Services"). Our Privacy Policy explains what information the Games collect and how it is used.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or playing a Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services and uninstall the Game.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Services. The Games are not directed at children and are not part of Google Play's Families program. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these Terms on your behalf and are responsible for any purchases you make.

3. Licence to use the Games

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Games on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these Terms and the rules of the app store you got the Game from. The Games are licensed, not sold. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you.

4. The Games are free

The Games are free to download and play. They are supported by ads and by optional in-app purchases. Nothing in a Game requires you to pay.

5. Virtual items and purchases

What you can buy: one-time purchases made through Google Play billing, such as a remove-ads unlock (US$2.99, or the local price shown in Google Play), coin packs, gem packs, and bundles. There are no subscriptions.
Virtual items are a licence, not property. Coins, gems, power-ups, and other in-game items (whether bought or earned) give you a limited, revocable licence to use them inside the Game. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or anything outside the Game, and cannot be sold, traded, or transferred to another person or account.
Payment: all payments are processed by Google Play under its terms. We never see your payment details. Prices may change at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Refunds: purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or by Google Play's refund policy. Refund requests go through Google Play. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, we may remove the related items or unlock.
Restoring purchases: non-consumable purchases (the ad-free unlock and bundles that include ad-free) can be restored on a new or reset device using the Restore Purchases button in the Game, while signed in to the same Google Play account. Consumable items (coins, gems, power-ups) are used up when spent and cannot be restored once spent.
Cloud save: where a Game offers cloud save, it is provided to help keep your progress, but we do not guarantee it. Progress and unused items may be lost if you uninstall, clear data, change accounts, or if data is corrupted.
Changes to items and Games: we may change, rebalance, or remove virtual items and Game features. We may stop supporting or discontinue a Game; if we do, we will try to give at least 30 days' notice in the Game or on our site. Unused virtual items have no value and will not be refunded, except where required by law.

6. Ads

The Games show ads, including interstitial ads (for example, between levels) and optional rewarded ads (for example, a second chance or bonus coins in exchange for watching). Ads are served through Unity LevelPlay and its mediated ad networks. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they link to. Rewards from rewarded ads are granted only when the ad completes and are not guaranteed if an ad fails to load. The remove-ads purchase removes interstitial ads; optional rewarded ads may remain available. See our Privacy Policy for how ad partners use data and how to change your ad choices.

7. Your conduct

You agree not to:

cheat, or use bots, scripts, hacks, trainers, or other unauthorised software to gain an advantage or automate play;
modify, mod, patch, or tamper with a Game, its files, saved data, or memory;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or try to extract source code, except to the extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction;
exploit bugs or glitches, or obtain virtual items or purchases by any means other than those we provide (including fraudulent purchases or chargebacks);
manipulate ads, ad rewards, or analytics (for example, fake ad views or clicks);
interfere with or disrupt the Services, our servers, or third-party services the Games use;
copy, sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute a Game or any part of it; or
use the Services in violation of any law.

If you find a bug, please tell us at support@voltfoxgames.com rather than exploiting it.

8. Intellectual property

The Games and the Services, including code, art, characters, music, sound, text, names, and logos (including "Voltfox Games", "Astra Blocks", and our other game titles), are owned by Voltfox Games LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not give you any right to use our names or logos. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

9. Third-party services and app-store terms

The Games rely on third-party services, including Google Play (distribution and billing), Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config (Google), Unity LevelPlay and its ad networks (ads), and RevenueCat (purchase validation). Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and they may change or become unavailable. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

If you downloaded a Game from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. If those terms conflict with these Terms on matters of distribution, billing, or refunds, Google Play's terms control on those matters. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Games.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not promise that the Games will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or that progress, items, or saved data will never be lost.

Some places do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOLTFOX GAMES LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST PROGRESS, OR LOST VIRTUAL ITEMS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) US$50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory local law.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voltfox Games LLC from claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the Games. We may suspend or end your access to a Game, and remove virtual items or progress, if you breach these Terms (for example, by cheating or fraudulent purchases), or if required by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. Sections 5 (on the nature of virtual items), 7, 8, and 10 through 17 survive termination.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes, we will give notice in the Game or on our site where appropriate. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept them. Changes do not apply to disputes that arose before they took effect.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer living outside the US, you also keep any protections given to you by the mandatory laws of your country.

16. Dispute resolution

Talk to us first. Most issues can be solved quickly. Before starting any claim, please email support@voltfoxgames.com with a description of the issue and what you are asking for. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.

Courts. If we cannot resolve it, any claim must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court in its county of residence if the claim qualifies. Consumers outside the US may also bring claims in their home courts where local law gives them that right.

17. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
